Parsons at the Seaport

SOUTHSTREET SEAPORT
NEW YORK, NY, 2016

A temporary design exhibition in New York City produced in partnership with the Howard Hughes Corporation and the Seaport Design District. As project manager, I worked closely with a fabrication team, graphic designer, and more than 50 student artists to transform the 10,000 square foot industrial space in Manhattan’s seaport district downtown, destroyed and refurbished after Hurricane Sandy. The temporary  installation ran for 8 weeks and saw more than 10,000 visitors.

The opening night event was hosted by the Downtown Design District in partnership with NYCxDesign (New York City's city-wide annual celebration of design), and was highlighted in the New York Times May 2016 "Design" special section (print and digital).
